150 Spear Street is an 18-story high rise project in the heart of San Francisco’s downtown. The project incorporates 150,000 square feet of commercial tenant space with underground parking and street-level retail. The structure was economically designed using glass fiber reinforced panels (GFRC) to lighten structural loads and reduce both footings and the structural steel superstructure. This innovative material has proven to be a versatile and durable finish for large-scale projects.
